arizona does not have dst, and i think i read that florida wants to stay on dst permanently

Good for Arizona, I know not all countries have dst, and it seems an out dated idea when we have electricity. It's not like we use candles to light up the homes or wood stoves to cook on any more.

It only complicates it if you have to change the clocks in your home or car manually, everything else now a days does it automatically.
