I just got done doing the same thing. I found this little plugin "Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions" and it works like a charm! It didn't wipe out feed data like the last one I used did. This time I had the sense to make a backup of all the sites 1st. Lol. Then I went ahead and disabled revisions and changed autosave to 5 minutes in all my config files. I can't remember ever using the revisions (i have my own mad method) so why save all the junk?gotonudecom wrote: ↑July 4th, 2019, 7:25 pmso after I managed to get my postmeta data under 300K. using several different plugins to removed duplicate posts, revisions and other crap. I used managewp.com to one click optimize the database.
If you are not using managewp.com or a similar service, give them a try. it is mostly free and saves a lot of time.

I think what does the best is the managewp.com account services. AT least while the database is small.
