did not use a condom, because used condoms are not recyclable
we don't use styrofoam plates or cups, because they are not recyclable
wife went to a book fair and bought some used books, so didn't cut down any trees to make new books

We have to move towards hybrid and electric cars, all the gas we consume on a daily basis is killing the ozone layer.

Call me old but there is nothing like the sound of an American V8 rumble in a car. Probably not the most politically correct statement I have made lately, but they sure sound great and that torque is incredible. Forget 4 cyclinder turbo engines that whine all the time.

This was funny to watch yesterday, President Trump was "planting" a tree given to him by the visiting French President Macron, while he does not believe in global warming and pulled us out of the climate change treaty

you and so many like you are so MISLED
Climate change is BS, at least the way the present it to the populous.
Read this.

Invalid conclusions may be reached based, not on failing to report dropped conditions, failed studies, or nonsignificant analyses, but on selective interpretations of data that highlight researchers’ preferred conclusions while masking more valid ones
One of the worst things that I have seen happen this millenium is the teaching that carbon dioxide is a bad thing. We need it to survive.

Thanks for all the links, but did you not get the point of the ONE long article I shared.
It was about this disinformation being shared by scientist for their own gain. Thus who can we trust?
Certainly NOT vanityfair.com.
“A recent article in astronomy (Loeb, 2014) has made important points about diversity of ideas.. Loeb (2014) highlighted example after example where prestigious astronomers “believed” something to be true on the basis of little or no evidence, obstructed the ability of younger scientists and others with new ideas to make progress on that problem because the alternatives were perceived as outlandish. In each case, many years later, it was ultimately discovered that the “outlandish” claim turned out to be true. In our terminology, unjustified but confidently-held conclusions masked the evidence, and sometimes even the search for evidence, of more valid ones. “Uniformity of opinions is sterile; the co-existence of multiple ideas cultivates com- petition and progress.”
Scientists claim to have a privileged ‘seat at the table’ owing to their alleged higher levels of rationality that is associated with the scientific method. Cherry picking and other shenanigans negate that privilege, and activist scientists become no better than lobbyists.
But all of this seems irrelevant to activist scientists who think they are saving the planet, or are addicted to careerist and financial rewards for sounding the alarm and ignoring (or worse) any science or scientist that doesn’t fit the narrative.
The masking bias and cherry picking isn’t research misconduct, but it misleads the science and policy makers alike. The IPCC, through its focus on ‘dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system’ has institutionalized the masking bias in climate science, with trickle down effects to the national funding agencies and what gets funded, how grant proposals and journal publications are framed, and what gets taught in university classrooms.
Climate change is NOT what they tell you it is. Because they are only telling you the part they want you to hear.
How many of you know the full story of Little Red Riding Hood? Most of you do not, because the narrative was changed to affect the minds of children.
Do you know what trees and other green plants breathe in and then breathe out? If they can not breathe what they need in, then they can not breath out what the rest of us need to live.
Do you know how many trees are cut down each day and not planted back?
Are you aware of the number of Einsteins theories have been proven wrong?
What if we stifled research for personal and monetary gain?
Oh wait that is what I am saying is going on.

First of all it is no longer titled "global warming" and is titled "global climate change". Why? Because it is cyclical meaning it is warming for a while, then cooling, then warming etc. etc.chilli.domains wrote: ↑June 28th, 2019, 7:07 amYou one of those people who does not believe in global warming and the causes, eg human's have caused it?gotonudecom wrote: ↑June 27th, 2019, 5:09 amGuess you missed my posts on how much of the information about global warming is wrong and or lacking all the information? Yes I believe in "global climate change".
I am one of those people that actually reads the reports and can tell that ALL the information is not being gathered, collated presented/shared with everyone.
I am one of those people that know that while we, the people of the planet, are affecting the climate that there are organizations and politicians that are demagogues.
We are being taught and research is being limited to affect changes to benefit the powerful. These changes are being used to increase the monetary power of certain groups. NOT to benefit us all.
The solutions for many of the issues that cause climate conditions are being hidden and restricted from research and development.
The true MAJOR causes are also being hidden from most people.
Take notice that I said MAJOR.
I am a person that sees the demagogues for what they are and that wants people to stop reading the headlines and start actually reading the scientific documentation on both sides of the argument.
For example the earths axes movement has changed most since what year?
What was built that year?
Why was the second one not built?
If you do not know the answers to the above questions, then is it because the information has been hidden, not published widely. Why?
From my research scientist can only guess at what affect volcano eruptions have on the atmosphere, much less the climate.
Then we have sun spots and solar winds. Is this data being included in the data that is shared with the public and ALL the scientists? My answer is NO.
I certainly want us to focus on the amount of forest that is destroyed every day.
I certainly want to decrease the trash we DUMP every day. Certainly in the ocean.
I can go on and on we the things that we the people can and should do.
The first is do your due diligence and determine what is actually going on and who the real perpetrators are.
What is the affect of nuclear tests? How much water is vaporized with each test? Where does it go?
Nuclear power plants what is there level of involvement? I am not talking about radiation.
How much steam does each plant release and how often at what temperature?
Why are most images of these plants taken when the cooling towers are inactive?
Why are most images of coal burning plants taken when their cooling towers are active?
Please correct me, if I am wrong, but the pollution from a coal plant is clear. Thus the images of white plumbs being released from coal plants is actually steam.
They want us to think nuclear is cleaner when it is not. Sure for humans their are harmful chemicals release from the carbon plants, but many of those chemicals are good for plants. Then the steam.
Nuclear is just deadly and then the steam.
For me it has to do with the demagogues that are attempting to take control of the planet. With lies.
Sure we need to do pay attention to what we do and how it is affecting the planted.
However, the giant corporations that are controlled by the few are not changing what they are doing.
These corporations are the ones truly affecting the environment the most. They also have the means to slow, stop, even reverse the small amount of damage we really do.
Do I believe humans have caused it? HELL NO!
Do we affect it? Yes.
Climate change is going to happen no matter what we do, that is the cycle of life for this planet. That is the definition of the phrase "climate change".
The difference between me and most people is that I have way more time to research this information and look for the holes in their agenda.
I do not have an out of control reactionary opinion. When/if I do I can change it.
I was raised from a young man not to trust the government or the media just because it is the government and the media.
At a young age, I was given specific examples from people that would know and had experienced what was/is going on. Many of these examples have been proven since or have come fruition.
