Not if your surfers had a smaller monitor or resolution set at 800x600 but once the sizes increased the page peel went unnoticed unless you specifically placed it in the content body.

BTW do you see an impact to these changes ? We don't, so far, so I'm wondering if it's because our ads are all compliant or if Chrome's update is not worldwide yet...

I am not seeing any drop in traffic. Coming to your site, it could be a bit of both. Has Google implemented the full changes as of now?

I remember going peel-ad crazy when they 1st became popular. That is until I noticed that they stopped all gifs on the page dead when the peel activated. Yeah, I was a gif nut as well. Once I saw that I quit using peels. My early sites truly were eyesores... lol
