[BUSINESS] beating a dead horse

Been talking to a few friends in the business and they all complain how sales are down and I ask the same question, what you doing. The answers are nearly always the same, they keep beating a dead horse and focus on the same few niches. How about changing niches, trying other ideas.They seem to be stuck in 2008 not looking to try cams, dating or any other niche. You need to evolve and change with the times. They all seem to hate tubes, but guess what, tubes are the traffic sites so why not try make money with them.

I know this from my school days,in the 19th century they would beat a horse to go faster, so the saying came about, it is pointless to beat a dead horse since it can not trot anyway.
