I am not going to name any script out of respect for the people I now who use them or the script authors, but scripts that are not actively updated are a security risk. We all hate having to update Wordpress all the time and plugins, but you know what it's a very good thing. Secure is worth it. Calling it a night, all I have to say on the subject.

I second that idea. Just for example I always update my WP when I see updates available. Using outdated scripts, plugins or code is asking for hackers to fuck up your site.
