Hi following up on another thread I started, what software is there I can download, where the emails are hosted on my domain, not on Gmail, Yahoo or any other site.

Thanks
Which one did you settle with?

I use Pegasus Mail, http://www.pmail.com/
I use workspace email as my email ervice and email that comes with my Cpanel hosting. Depending on each domains particular setup. I own over 300 sites and have my hosting spread around.
I use this
https://www.yourbusinessneedsa.com/products/email
when the domain is setup on this hosting.
https://www.yourbusinessneedsa.com/products/wordpress

and then use this for both email and hosting
https://www.yourbusinessneedsa.com/products/cpanel

Pegasus Mail is text based, so easy to backup. The features are good. Since I receive hundreds of emails a day, the filter functionality is a must. I have years and years of email available to search.
The only two cons are the learning curve (easier than outlook and great documentation) and I can not search folders. Meaning If I am looking for a particular folder there is no search for folders. Of course I can search for emails.
That filter and search functionality is awesome and probably the biggest pro, next to the flexibility of email management.

A few clicks and I can archive thousands of emails to one file and then zip that file up and save to my backup storage. I have email from 1997 still as long as that hard drive still works.

I have this program open almost always and it does not slow down my computer at all.

Outlook express was the best and now Gmail seems to have become the standard.

I believe we all used it once in our time, it was so nice and simple when running Windows.

h the days of Outlook Express were so much easier to make sales, Not that it had anything to do with it. Just a different era.
