I received an email inviting me to join. I was hesitant because I though it was a spam. Initially, I was about to mark it as "spam" but the domain name was interesting. So I tried registering.

Not sure where the admin got my email. Or was it in previous database. Maybe I registered in the old website, I just couldn't recall since I registered in many forums in the past.

Hi Jeffrey that would be me. When I did the domain change here I had some trouble with the database integration, a couple of weeks ago I figured I would start hitting up members form the old board one by one about the change, I started with the list with fewest posts. You had 1 post on the old site form ages ago. Glad you opened the email and read it.

I gave up that plan after a couple of days, it's just too time consuming, I have a guy working on merging the old member list here, but it's so messed up it's going to take a few more days maybe another week.

I'm glad. I figureed the regulars form the past couple of years would eventually find their way here, which seems to be the case. So I started with members who had the least number of posts. But as I mentioned it is just too much work going through 73,000 names. So hoping this guy who says he knows the VB database structure can do the merge soon.

I went to the site it redirected here, my login did not work, I ended up re-joining.
