The amount of people saying that high payout makes the difference is surprising...

the latter?
5 x $40 = $200.00
but
1000 x $1 = $1,000.00
5 x $40 = $200.00
but
1000 x $1 = $1,000.00

I probably should have explained a little bit more..
So, things like 50-55% with the extra 5% is ok, sure, but I'm talking more about only promoting the programs that pay out 65-75% and sometimes higher. Why do you think they're able to pay out that much? Not all programs, but a lot that offer high revshare payouts have things like poorly maintained members areas, no more or minimal updates, non-exclusive content, old SD content, etc. All are things that will really prevent members from rebilling, ending up in less money in the long run vs promoting a program with around 50% revshare or even lower sometimes depending on what it is, because a lot of those programs are ones that have HD/4k content updated consistently, members area that is fast and easy to navigate with good ui/ux, paying good models for exclusive content, extras, SM promotion, more employees on top of things, etc.
PPS is a different game, so I won't really get into that one since it's late.. But who has really gotten one of $300PPS cam payments?.. (Won't name any programs but we all know who I'm talking about :p )
**I guess some programs make more money with affiliates than others, too, and can make a difference. Which is why I said "Not all programs"..
btw Bill, I'd take the former

Same here...
Many webmasters don't look into profit per 1K, they just want a BIGGER PERCENTAGE. Do they think CPC and CPM are for loosers?
p.s. Different affiliate programs have very different tools for statistic, sometimes their figures didn't match the reality a lot. So you better count outgoing traffic on your side too, with one tool\soft for all your traffic, this way you'll get figures you can compare.

I might sound greedy but since my sales are not that many per day I try the high paying ones.

But... Maybe sales are low as a result of using those programs.

Their sites no other reason I want to look deeper into the sponsor unless I notice a site that I can promote on my blogs
