Marriage is a biblical thing and if you are for the Bible it is between a man and a woman. The Bible is not for gays, now I am all for gay rights, so why do gay people get married. It makes no sense to me. This got me thinking when I read on cnn.com that Don Lemon is engaged to his boyfriend Tim Malone. Being gay, living together is cool with me as i said many times here. But why get married if you are gay?

Taxes, inheritance, legal rights all factor in as a married couple. I am an atheist and got married. It is not really all about being religious. Te factors I mentioned had nothing to do with my decision, in the old times it was the right thing to do, would i do it again, nope.
