why do people upload videos to tubes?

It is logical that programs upload to tubes to get their name out and direct sales form banners underneath the videos, but why do other individuals upload videos when they have no banner ad or monetary incentive.

I ask this question since I go to xhamster all the time and they have a comment there that they get more than 3000 videos uploaded per day. That is a lot of people uploading videos for no gain.
