any body had bronchitis
Good day Sponsorhat, any body here had bronchitis. I had a cough for a few days and then a temperature so I went to the doctor yesterday, He said it is bronchitis, he gave me an antibiotic to take twice a day for 10 days, some syrup to drink which tastes worse than dog piss, an inhaler and said take Tylenol as need it'll clear in a week to 10 days.
In all the meds cost me $88 and I started the whole lot yesterday. Is bronchitis dangerous, he said stop smoking but I didn't listen to him on that one.

Get well man do as the doctor says. The smoking wil not help you heal any faster, at least cut down for a few days.

If you were 80 and had it I'd say be creful but if you are young and in general god health it is easily beaten. I have had it and it cleared up in 2 weeks and no aftermath.

MY father had it a few times, one time he was choking every time he coughed and got put on an oxygen mask at home for a week. He finally got over it and quit smoking, he was a heavy smoker.

Cut back on the smokes and try to get it cleared up. Bronchitis can become chronic and lead you down the path of COPD. That's not a road you want to travel. I've been on this trek since my teens and currently puff on 3 different inhalers. It sucks.

I'm not better or worse, still have trouble breathing. I an using everything they gave me, the inhaler is called Symbicort. The thing gives my mouth a taste like dog shit but it seems to be working.
The smoking is a problem, I smoke less but still go thru a pack every 2 days. Hey thanks to every one who chimed in here.

Maybe it's a good idea to at least cut down to a few not half a pack a day for a short while. Not to be rude or try and panic you but the lungs are not to be fucked around with. If it was your gall bladder they chop it out and you live fine, lungs are a different case you really need them.
