You're asking the wrong guy. I have worn ties so many years I hate the sight of them. I was at 3 weddings last year and never wore one. You be who you are, not what others expect you to be.

My 2 cents on those things hanging around a guy's neck which have no practical reason.

Has nothing to do with cool. My fat ass could not get into my suit to go to my grandfathers funeral. Then I was asked to carry the big box. I was the only one without a suit, but at least I had a tie on.
