how important is Alexa to you

[JPDomains]

when dealing with domains I check it

[T.B.W]

I do not stay up if my sites go up or down on there. It is another site for all I care.

[jag]

Google page rank meant more to me

[CTE]

I won't pay for the use of it.

[misterporn]

I do check it once in a blue moon to see how my sites are doing on there

[bestfreeporn]

It is not the most important stats tool I check but I do look at it when doing trades

[gspotman]

When it was free it was great, checking sites before doing traffic deals or trades, not interested in paying for it.

[AlexO]

Last I checked it was not free so I stopped going there

[BHT]

Not as if I lose sleep over my sites going up or down on it

[KarinaJab]

How can I achieve getting to 200K or less on there?

[gotonudecom]

I have sites with 1M plus and some in the low 200K range, how do you get down to under 100K after years of running a site.

Alexa uses their guessometer algorithm to calculate who goes where. Last time I looked they have a browser tool that helps them track, they also have a script like Google Analytics that tracks traffic. At one time I put one of their tracking banners on my sites. That was a mistake. It slowed my sites and was not accurate.

Their scores and traffic guesses for NUDE.com have never been accurate. Not even when their code was on the site.

I use Alexa as tool only because it is a tool that many people believe in. When people stop believing in it, I will stop using it.

You need to hope more users with their tool bar go to your sites

[trafficseller]

One of many tools I use for business.

[ZR1]

some what when checking on sites who ask for trades

[monsta]

think about this for a moment who else ranks sites with a tool bar that webmasters and site owners look to.
