Sorry I messed things up for a little while by trying a code on the footer file, it's okay now.

I see you broke the site. I think i understand what you're trying to do. You are trying to parse php in an html file. You'll need to instruct your server to do that. Try adding the following code to your .htacess file:
If your webserver is running php as Apache module:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*)\.html $1\.php
RewriteRule ^(.*)\.htm $1\.php
If your webserver is running PHP as CGI, use this:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
Now cross your fingers and toes and do a php include in your html footer file

Just one minor thing, on the trade signup page, the Nickname auto-populates "TheButcher" :p

I did mess it up, replaced the footer file from a backup, then put Includephp before the code and the top list shows up. I did not come up with the fix, that was by "lumpy" and credit to him, so I do not come across as the guy who solved it.

Okay I think that is just TE, the field is writable, please use delete that on signup for some reasons it is populating that field with my nick, no idea why.

Where is your toplist.html located ? is it in another directory or in the same directory as the main site ?
Have you tried using a relative path such as:
include '/public_html/sponsorchat/toplist.html';
That is obviously not the correct path but just an example.
