background music on sites

[Markus]

Is it a good idea?

[TheButcher]

I hate the ting, it's the same with videos on sites starting up automatically. I can be sitting with friends or family checking sites and all of a sudden the darn video will start with some woman talking dirty or moaning. I like to click a video for it to play and not ave sound on sites.

Banners with sound get more attention, that is a fact.

[XpressPete]

It gets embaressing when you are in a coffee shop check a pornsite out and the talking starts when you do a mouse over a banner.

[notty]

No yes vote from me on this idea

[HeidiHoe]

Most people want to keep their porn on the downlow not draw the attenton of anyone within earshot. Also, isn't Google frowning on auto starts nowadays?

[urbanlegend]

Nah not into it and never use banner ads on my blogs with sound

[calista]

Never used musical banners on my sites,

[nudelinks]

adult webmaster banners do not need it nor do they need nude images on them, that is for end users not peeps in the trade.

[host4porn]

This is always a bad idea in my opinion. Let me decide to hit play if its something I want to hit play on.

How I feel about the thing

[Sneaky]

NO it makes life harder to sell and surf porn

[moma]

It can be embarrassing in public places

[killah]

That is what my Iphone is for, to listen to music when I want, no to banners with music or voice.

[vblogger]

I have tried banners with sound and seen no increase in click thru rates.
