WordPress 5.0 is out

[vblogger]

Community heads up, update your WordPress blogs to 5.0

[HeidiHoe]

Yeah, I just did all my updates. I'm not too thrilled about the new editor. Just another damn thing to get used to. I did install the old editor but didn't activate it. Just in case I don't want to tax my brain and put forth the effort getting used to the new one right now.

I did mine this morning and opted to keep the old editor, I was not crazy about this new thingy they came out with.

Still experimenting with the new editor, it's not that bad. But let me see in a couple of days if i'll switch back to the old one.

It us fuggy and I am not using it

[Emil]

Blah not impressed with it at all

Be careful... check your shit! I did some minor edits (added and changed some links) on a few of my pages and the editor fucked them up!!! If you have pages that were written in html instead of visual for whatever reason make sure you check them! I just activated the classic editor on all my blogs. I'm not using this new crap! I'm just grateful that some of my blogs are using pagebuilder or I would have fucked up even more pages doing edits!!! What utter garbage!

It takes a few minutes getting used to, I am fine with it now.

It is a change, some times we are not excited abiut change in life and some times we are, this one is neither way for me.

I have my logs on auto update and they are now ll running 5.0 , the new features are not too shabby.

[Sebs]

Nothing major pops out to me, it's an evolution how I see it.

[pussyhunter]

Who came up with this idea, the old interface is so much nicer

[ispdn]

Nothing to get excited over I decided to stay with the old style editor. I see why they changed it but it is not for me.

[Cumslut]

wow wordpress has changed so much form a few years ago when I was building my blogs, it is so much nicer.

[Mitch]

So much love for the thing
