have you noticed this about new members

Not just here when they first come post they seem to shy away and after a while they get busy posting. I am on 2 other adult and 3 mainstream forums, it is the same routine.

People get themselves over-motivated and think that they're going to jump in and make a ton of money just by "working hard", then burn out in a day.. :p
I've had people like this in real life who want to work with me and say that they're going to be the hardest worker etc, but then I show them what I do and they don't last more than a day.. lol

what mainstream forums do you follow?

i follow (sometimes) WarriorForum and also BlackHat

but those are totally mainstream ... not adult... but occassionally i do find some good informational nuggets there too
