Have You Kept Up With Amazon's Web Services Announcements?
Here is a recap, these are just a few out of everything they announced.
- They created their own ARM based CPU that will power some of their ec instances.
- They now support AMD based Instances instead of just Intel based instances.
- Lambda now supports Ruby.
- You can now pause and resume EC workloads.
- They launched AWS App Mesh (Service mesh for microservices).
- They launched Quantum Ledger Database.
- Launched Aurora Global Database (One database throughout multiple regions).
They are killing it with all these announcements. I know they made an announcement on redis as well but I have not read up on it yet.
Here is a link to all of their announcements so far https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2018/

So looks like PHP support is coming to AWS LAMBDA which opens up a lot of new implementation for php developers. I figured PHP support was coming, previously if you wanted to use LAMBDA you would have to write your code in JAVA, Node, or Python. I got very comfortable using Python with LAMBDA but its nice to keep language normalization for backend as much as possible.

Sounds good enough and on the flip side more ways to infect code into sites and cause havoc.sebflo wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2019, 1:44 pmSo looks like PHP support is coming to AWS LAMBDA which opens up a lot of new implementation for php developers.
