I heard of a few who do this, and some even ask you to hold your photo ID by your fa e take a photo upload it to get paid, both seem stupid overkill ideas.

I put it down to KYC laws some are following to the letter

This best not get popular with the sponsors I use. Life is busy for me with out having to beg for a payout from 30 plus sponsors every week or two.
