I was reading about a programmer that is selling horrible software with zero support and then refusing to refund money.

There is an easy solution for any issue like this.

Use a payment method that allows you to reverse the charge on crap downloads, no exclusions. When a merchant refuses to allow you to use YOUR choice of payment methods, do not buy from them.

If you do not have this level of security on your purchases, please do not complain about the loss. It is your fault for not taking the precaution with every purchase.

Waiting 90 days is kinda sucky, so get a refund early. 30 days is way to long, even if support is ignoring you. Support should respond within 1 business day, everyday or as published.

As for the programmer, IMHO, give the money back no matter what. Someone asks, click the button.

This programmer now has how many negative pages dedicated to the plugin due to a communication issue, a support issue, an attitude issue, etc.?

Not good for business, even if the plugin is great and people are too cheap and/or too dumb to operate it.

No one else here is going to even look at the plugin.

I would like a copy sent to me. When I have time I will install on my Devserver and see if I can get it to work.

I nearly bought the script when I saw the thread. The price was good yet again his way of handling clients is not that great.

The only time I had to do a charge back on my credit card, they stopped the car being valid for online purchases, the only reason I resorted to it was I paid a designer $200 up front for him to start making my tube site , that is what he wanted and I was t pay another $200 when it set it up. I did not want to rush him so 8 days later I messaged him how it was going, his email bounced. I tried icq him and he did not reply for 2 more weeks. I called my bank and asked for a refund, I got it, but now that card is useless online. Just so you know what I went thru.
