Here is my SEO work flow (My SEO Walkthrough). What is yours like?
Just curious to see what others are doing.
Here is my general workflow.
For General On Site
- Use niche focus keyword on every page.
- Use custom titles.
- Use custom description for every video and page.
- Keep URL's as short as possible.
- Give every image alt content.
Server/Domain Side
- enable HTTPS
- generate SSL certificate from CloudFlare
If Domain Was Used Previously By Someone Else
- search for current backlinks and links that have been indexed by search engine, then create redirects for those links to prevent getting a 404 page if those pages are not longer existing but still showing up in search engine searches.
- Do some reputation management by looking for comments, or feedback (negative or positive) for the domain's previous website and reply to these comments letting the previous visitors know the website is under new management or is a completely new website and invite them to come back and check our what's new.
Off Site
- Social Bookmarks To My Site
- Social Media Accounts For My Site
- Submit Sitemap To Google Console
- Submit Site to google console for indexing, i do this once a week for a few new videos.
- Create custom branded videos to post on social media.
Monitoring
- SimilarWeb.com
- Moz
Blog
- Write 1000 to 1200 word blog post per week. (usually have a writer do this)
- Write 1000 to 1200 word erotica per month. (usually have a writer do this too)
Thats kinda my general workflow for SEO when I start an adult website.
I get a lot from blogs, social bookmarks, and by posting links and branded videos on social media.
Something that I see often overlooked is SSL, reputation management, and legacy URL redirects. I believe these neglected items are huge for SEO and to generally keep a good reputation with your visitors.
So this is just kind of a brief summary of my general workflow. What do you do?

Personally I think twitter is the best, at least that is what has been working for me. A lot of people ditch twitter because they dont get enough followers, but what you have to keep in mind is followers are great and they will come if you are consistent but what really matters is click through rates.
Its all about click through rates with twitter when it comes to the adult industry, most people are not gonna follow or like an adult twitters tweet, because they dont want their peers knowing they like/watch porn... even though everyone does lol.
Aside from twitter, depending on the niche I would suggest pinterest.
My strategy for twitter is different than most when it comes to profile creation, same goes for pinterest. Most websites have a twitter page and its branded as the website. It works for some but I get consistent results with a different strategy.

Thanks for the feedback, I hope you got some good info out of this thread so far.
I am working on an Adult SEO e-book that goes pretty deep into whitehat and blackhat methods of SEO, specifically for the adult industry.

Like what I read. Very basic/old school! Thumbs up
I don't write much but I do copy and paste. I am too tired for links now, but will share some docs I have later. I have already shared a few somewhere on sponsorchat.
@sebflo Looking forward to reading more!

I have been adding SSl to sites for a while now and rarely have seen in improvement on the SEO of the sites that are tracking SEO.vblogger wrote: ↑October 29th, 2018, 10:16 amGoogle will give your site more weight.Britporn_Mike wrote: ↑October 20th, 2018, 6:32 amQuestion for you, how much does an ssl help in seo?
On a few, the SSL made the site slower and of course their SEO was lowered.
While you get more weight, it might be like eating celery(next to zero weight) and then you might trip and fall and stick the celery in your eye. Now you are out whatever the cost are for the SSL (yearly)
