Cpanel experts please inside

Can you setup to backup your sites in Cpanel more than once a day, every 6 hours is what I want so I never end up with a day old copy of my blogs.

Yeah, you can set cron jobs to run backups with WHM as long as you're not using a version like 5+ years old.

Different setups/versions might only allow once/day, though, but newer WHM backup configuration allows multiples.
But, before setting up backups 4 times a day, be sure that the backups will even be finished by the time the next one starts, and keep in mind peak traffic hours, most people avoid backups running during those times.

Now to figure out where to add the crons, this would be a good way to have more than daily backups.

Hey, so it's easier now than it used to be..
In cPanel, go to advanced > Cron jobs. Then put in your email address, then choose frequency settings, then the command is the path to your backup php script from root.

cpanel is easy to get around if you are not intimidated by all the links on the left, you will get used to it and it is real handy when you get to it.

It is worth the extra pennies though, cPanel is probably the most used control panel for a reason. They have a convention of sorts going on right now.
