Yeah I happen to agree with you there but the merits of the death penalty is a whole different debate. The idea that we are now live streaming executions so everybody can watch is just abhorrent to most people. If this is supposed to win him votes in the mid terms then I think its going to backfire massively

Not that it makes it any better, I watch a lot of stuff online where they even censor out the word murder they call it "Unalive" because the platforms will ban the clips. Or when they show live police chases of suspects when the cops get close up pull their guns out they pan away in case the suspect gets shot. But it's okay to show a guy killed by firing squad, hard to believe why anyone would want this shown live.

Most people are horrified at the thought of public executions but unfortunately we have idiots like Pete Hegseth and Trump in charge who think its a great idea
