I have de quervain's tenosynovitis
It's been months I have this excruciating pain in my right thumb and wrist area, I thought it might be carpal tunnel syndrome from using the mouse so many hours a day for so long,I visited a clinic they said to get corticosteroid injection and a thumb splint, if that doesn't help after a few times to get surgery. Has anyone here been though this and got any shots or the surgery?

Why do they give complicated sounding names for disease & medical conditions, why not make it simple.
