Trump offers to pay $5k to every adult in America if he wins midterms

It seems that the American elections are for sale !

Yesterday at the Republican mid-term convention, Trump offered to pay every adult in America $5,000 if Republicans win the mid-terms.

That equates to over $1.2 trillion which is significantly more than was distributed for the Covid stimulus package and compares with the nearly $1.3 trillion the U.S. government has already spent on interest on the national debt (which topped $40 trillion for the first time last month) so far this year.

This comes off the back of his promised $5,000 DOGE dividend and the $2,000 Tariff rebate.....neither of which happened. It's also illegal as federal law prohibits offering to pay somebody to secure their vote

Clearly he has no intention of keeping this promise but how many people are going to fall for it ??

If the Republicans lose both the senate and House he must have a hunch they might go for another impeachment. Even if that fails to materialize he will be a lame duck president who will have a hard time pushing though his agenda.

Oh he's definitely getting impeached. They have enough evidence to impeach him on half a dozen things already and now add to that, offering to pay people $5k for their vote. That is totally illegal, even if he doesn't pay it, the fact that he has offered it is a bribe and he can be impeached for it

The trouble is, this kind of corruption has just become normal under Trump and he gets away with because he knows nobody can stop him whilst he holds the majority in the house and senate. The minute he looses that majority, they will be impeaching his ass over and over and HE knows that. Hence why he's resorted to desperate measures like trying to bribe the entire country

Im sure some people will fall for it but I guarantee its NEVER going to happen. Even if by some miracle, Trump wins the mid terms he will simply forget about it and move onto something else. Just like he did with the $5k DOGE dividend or the $2k tariff rebate
