What if Trump says fuck it and nukes Iran what will happen next, will anyone care or do anything abut it.

Nukes won't open the strait, in fact they are more likely to make it a radioactive no-go area like Chernobyl. Plus it would only take a few Iranians left with some drones to stop ships going through

The strait cannot be opened by force and the sooner Trump realizes that, the sooner we can get on with negotiating a deal to get us out of this mess

My guess is this war will drag on for years, just like the war in Ukraine. The parallels between the two conflicts are pretty striking. Two superpowers launching surprise attacks on smaller, weaker nations and both believing their overwhelming military force would have it all wrapped up in just a few weeks. So much so that neither of them even calls it a war. It's Putin's "Special Military Operation" and Trump's "Little Excursion". Now they are both bogged down in a war of drones that neither was prepared for and with no end in sight for either of them

I cant see either war being solved any time soon.

The war Trump and Netanyahu started for no reason that will cost Trump his legacy and the Republicans the mid terms, what a strategic blunder by Trump.Plus most Americans and the world are against this war.

Trump is cornering himself to a place where he won't accept it was a total failure and he lost the war so he might have to nuke pickaxe mountain to show something major. Hope he does not go nuclear because it will open up the proverbial Pandora's box to other countries using a nuke. It would also be ironic that he claimed to start this war to prevent Iran ever getting a nuclear weapon.

I honestly think this whole war started as a distraction from the Epstein files. Trump saw how quick and easy it was to take out Venezuela and he thought he could do the same again in Iran even though his own director of intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, testified to Congress that Iran was NOT trying to develop a nuclear weapon.

Make no mistake, we are in this mess because Trump was trying to cover his ass

I do agree with that and want to add, I think Netanyahu and his paid and bought for officials (read campaign and pac money recipients the US political establishment) tricked Trump into believing that Iran would fold in a mater of days. How to get out of this mess and save face is what must be on Trump's mind.

It might be Trump is letting it stay low key until the midterms, then he will have nothing to lose being a lame duck 2nd term president and will let all hell go loose.He can not afford to do it now so gas does not go to $10 a gallon.
