can any one explain how these bots come and go in a short period of time
When I get a lot of bots at my sites i activate the Cloudflare 'under attack' button, every thing turns out fine. After some time I deactivate the 'under attack' button and see there are very few less than 20 bots at a time on my sites. What causes bots to go to a site and then stop going there, any ideas.

I have no idea but I do know Cloudflare is a perfect solution for bots.

The best thing is to block them in htaccess as you see them. So they can not get though the next time.

What else do we know about where bots come from, I have now blocked Singapore traffic using htaccess but I'm still seeing a whole lot of bots on my sites.

These are all AI training bots and the reason they are hitting our sites is because of all the new AI porn sites out there
AI porn sites only work because the AI has trained itself by looking at millions of porn sites. That way, it knows what the user means when he says "I want bigger tits" for example. Lets face it, our sites don't tend to have much text so the reason they are hitting us is because of our images and videos

I wish there was a way to stop bots they are going to do more damage to adult websites than any age verification ever will, I don;t mean just adding Cloudflare a way to get rid of them off the WWW for good.
