Good riddance to bad rubbish. He came in with a landslide victory exactly 24 months ago with 411 Labour seats, ended what was it 14 years of Conservatives prime ministers. It seemed to me he spent most of his 2 years running around the world fighting for more money, weapons, help for Ukraine than the UK.
I could careless if a brass monkey was elected PM, anyone but this guy. The first time I heard him speak that was years ago I got turned off by his voice and when I saw his face I wanted to throw up. I don;t really care much for Andy Burnham but for the sake of the country I wish him all the very best not that he'll need it because anything he does that is not a Starmer policy will work. My 2 cents of advice not that he will read this post is stay in the UK worry and work out the issues and problems at home. The first task of any PM is the fix and manage the country for the people not spend his or her time worrying about other countries.
My second piece of advice would be stop a foreign assistance, financial aid and give aways, spend the British tax payers money on the British tax payers, rebuilding the institutions and infrastructure of the UK. Basically what Trump ran on but has not lived up to his campaign promises.

This is the problem with the British electoral system. In America, you vote for the President and Vice President on the same ticket. So if the President goes, then at least you've got someone who's been elected to take over. Here in the UK, when a prime minister goes it's up to his party to elect a new leader and the public have no say in it until the next election.
I suspect Andy Burnham will call a snap election pretty soon otherwise he has no mandate to govern

My mother's grand father was half English and half Dutch, so I heard a few stories about British politics when I was living at home. What amazes me there is no written constitution in Britain, so how do people, lawyers and judges look up laws.

Burnham is carrying on where Starmer left off, more support more money for the Ukraine war. How about he starts concentrating on the welfare of the British people and industry. Prime ministers come and go the agenda is set by others deep in the bowels of Whitehall.
