Of course I support our side , the question has to be asked, was it right, was it precedent setting for a president to call the head of FIFA try get a red card decision changed.Would we stand for it if the Chinese or French president did the same thing.tacnet wrote: ↑July 6th, 2026, 6:11 pmApparently the red card stands (because they can't simply overturn a VAR decision) but they have suspended his one match ban for up to a year. So he can miss any match he chooses anytime in the next year !!!TheButcher wrote: ↑July 6th, 2026, 5:16 pmWhen you are the most powerful man in the world and you call say "Take another look at this incident" you get results. That is what power means not just people who talk big and get no results. The red card was not cancelled it was suspended. sane difference but more palatable words to describe "Yes sir whatever you want sir 3 bags full.'
Imagine what the outcry is going to be if Folarin Balogun scores the winning goal ???
I want America to go through but this is just more blatant corruption from Trump and it brings the whole tournament into question

Argentina v Egypt is about to start, and the former will win, my 2 cents. All eyes on Messi and Salah.

Im sad to see America go out but, to be honest, if they had gone through then the calls of 'CORRUPTION' would have grown louder and louder.blingman wrote: ↑July 7th, 2026, 10:13 amOf course I support our side , the question has to be asked, was it right, was it precedent setting for a president to call the head of FIFA try get a red card decision changed.Would we stand for it if the Chinese or French president did the same thing.tacnet wrote: ↑July 6th, 2026, 6:11 pmApparently the red card stands (because they can't simply overturn a VAR decision) but they have suspended his one match ban for up to a year. I don't know why Trump would think it was OK for him to get a red card overturned ???. Any other president would have known to stay out of it

There is some drama over the Argentina v Egypt game. The Egyptian side is not happy with the decisions taken by the referee and VAR decision.

My boyfriend asked me to watch the France and Morocco game and he was ecstatic that the score was 2 zero, he's pat French on his mother's side.

So much drama over these games, not going to say much more so as not to get into trouble, but you can figure out who is going to win in the end one way or another.

Has there ever been a World Cup in recent memory with so many people asking questions over decisions made on the field?

Surprising result Spain 2 and France 0. Both side played well, Spain just out smarted the French with style and substance. I'm getting hooked on this FIFA games.
