Anyone else feel like something is seriously off with the world lately?
I don’t know, maybe I’m just doomscrolling too much, but does anyone else feel like the world has been getting weird as hell lately?
Everywhere you look, there’s some kind of war, proxy conflict, political tension, sanctions, internet blocks, services getting shut off in certain countries, governments tightening control, companies locking people out, economies getting shaky, and people becoming more divided by the day.
And on top of that, you’ve got natural disaster stuff too. Earthquakes, the San Andreas Fault, climate chaos, extreme weather, all of it. It feels like there’s this constant background noise of “something bad is coming,” but nobody really knows what that something is.
I’m not trying to sound like one of those “the end is near” people. I’m not saying the world is ending tomorrow. But honestly, it really does feel like we’re standing right before some major ugly events.
The internet used to feel like this open global thing. Now it feels like every country is building its own walls, blocking apps, censoring stuff, cutting people off, and turning the web into separate little controlled zones.
Same with politics. Nobody trusts the media, nobody trusts the government, nobody trusts corporations, and people barely even trust each other anymore. Everything feels tense. Like one wrong move somewhere could set off a chain reaction.
At this point I honestly catch myself wondering if I should be learning some actual hands-on skills instead of just staring at screens all day. Leatherworking, blacksmithing, fixing stuff, growing food, basic mechanics, maybe even old-school stuff like making blades or chainmail. I know it sounds kind of medieval and dramatic, but there’s something comforting about knowing how to actually make or repair something with your own hands when everything digital feels so fragile.
So I’m genuinely curious.
Are things actually getting worse, or are we just more aware of everything now because we’re online 24/7?
Are we heading into a new era of global instability?
Is this just normal history being messy, or does this time feel different?
And what are regular people even supposed to do mentally, financially, and practically when everything feels this unpredictable?
Maybe I’m overthinking it. Maybe it’s just media overload and algorithms feeding us panic all day. But I can’t shake the feeling that something’s off.
Anyone else feeling this, or is it just me?

they all want to be lions of the jungle no one wants to be a rabbit, hare or regular creature and live in harmony.

The world can handle a lot more people than we have now, it is not the reason things are not happy.

In a way I agree with that statement, it will really become WW3 if Russia attacks a European country or if someone attacks our homeland. Then nukes will go off and lights out for all humanity.

The cold war was dangerous times this is now not so bad the whole world knows we are the only super power and can fuck them up if they try anything with us.
