More and more sites send you away if you decline their cookies
I see it not only with adult sites but other sites, they do NOT give you the option to tailor the cookies, you either accept them in whole or if you click no they send you to some site such as Google. In effect they are forcing you to accept their cookies or not enter the site.
Is that how the right?

It's fair they give you the option to either take the cookies or leave.

These days, NO site works without cookies which begs the question, why must we have a cookies notice on every single website we visit ???
A few years ago, Boris Johnson (UK Prime Minister) introduced a bill to scrap the law requiring a cookies notice on every website. Then covid hit and Boris was kicked out of office and the whole thing died a death
Maybe some politician will re-introduce it because, right now, the cookies notice serves no purpose and is just an annoyance for users trying to browse the internet

copied this from a post I did the other day. Thought it might be relevant
There's a couple of other things you can do with your cookies popup. Firstly you can make it unobtrusive. If you look at the screenshot below, you'll see we have ours as a very small bar at the bottom of the page so it doesn't get in the way. It's non modal so the user can still click anywhere

The other thing is to use implied consent. That means as soon as you display the cookie message, you set the cookie to indicate that they have clicked "accept". That way you only display the message to the user ONCE and if they do anything other than close the browser, then they have accepted your cookies
All perfectly legal and above board
Hope that's useful

The end user should have the option to decide what cookies they accept not a simple all or nothing.

Yep that makes sense. Functionality cookies are fine, the extra tracking ones not so good.DeSexGuide wrote: ↑June 21st, 2026, 5:22 pmThe end user should have the option to decide what cookies they accept not a simple all or nothing.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.
