Where do you see more refunds and charge backs on 30,60 or 90 day memberships?

People who cry the billing company is too strict on letting sales go though should realize that a few too many charge back transactions and the billing facility will be terminated.

Credit card companies will refund a charge in a heart beat especially if it is adult related they don;t care who is right or wrong.

If you have 5 joins a week and one refund a month that is a lot, if you have 50 joins a week and one refund it's not important. It all comes down to number and percentages, if it was my program and some webmaster had 1 in 5 refunds I would close that affiliates account.

Crypto is no good for membership billing because you can't do rebills on it. It's a one off charge so if users start using crypto then bang goes all your rebills
Paypal is the best option because you can do rebills and there's no chargebacks.

My advice is definitely do it. About 30% of our business is Paypal right now. They do charge an extra few percent but the way round that is to just increase the price by a dollar or two if the user selects Paypal3ric wrote: ↑May 13th, 2026, 12:42 amPayPal is good the charge backs bit not too sure about it

When you have a merchant account, you have to keep chargebacks/refunds under 1% otherwise you will likely loose your merchant status
That's where Paypal is so good because the money is already gone from the users bank account so if they cry "fraud", nobody gives a shit. Totally different with credit cards

But Paypal will open a case if the user complains, I sold a domain 2 years ago the buyer pretended he never got the goods he ordered, right off the bat when he complained PP froze the $425 in my account.I replied what the hell is he talking of, it was a domain, I can not provide a tracking number, here is the transfer emails from my registrar to his, after 3 weeks he lost his bogus claim and my funds were released.tacnet wrote: ↑May 16th, 2026, 8:26 pmWhen you have a merchant account, you have to keep chargebacks/refunds under 1% otherwise you will likely loose your merchant status
