I doubt people in Lebanon or Gaza look at it as a side show when they are being bombed and killed.

Israel is turning Lebanon into Gaza, bombing and demolishing homes with their bulldozers. They outright told people in areas they are forcing people out of that they will not go back.

Israel carried out one of the deadliest strikes in Lebanon ever
"The Lebanese health ministry reported that 182 people were killed and 890 wounded by Israeli strikes on Wednesday, with the capital, Beirut, hit by the most violent bombardment yet since the start of the war."

Not sure how long this cease fire is going to last ??. It's written document and the wording seems to give it awaymisterporn wrote: ↑April 16th, 2026, 1:29 pmhttps://www.cnn.com/2026/04/16/world/li ... -us-israel

The words "planned" or "imminent" means that if Israel feels threatened, or even if they think Hezbollah are planning an attack, they can strike first

Journalists should not be killed I hope our PM takes a position on this.
"Israel’s killing of a prominent Lebanese journalist in a double-tap strike has been greeted with international outrage as Lebanon’s prime minister described the attack as a “war crime”.
Amal Khalil, 43, who worked for al-Akhbar newspaper, was buried on Thursday. She was killed in what colleagues described as a sustained attack by Israeli forces, with rescuers attempting to dig her out of the rubble of a building also targeted and prevented from providing life-saving assistance.
Her death prompted renewed accusations that Israel has a policy of targeting media workers, despite its repeated denials.
Khalil had previously spoken of receiving a threat via an unidentified Israeli phone number that she would be killed if she did not leave southern Lebanon, where she had long been based.
Khalil’s killing was condemned by senior figures from across Lebanese politics even as they prepared for fresh talks in Washington on Thursday aimed at extending a fraught ceasefire with Israel.
Lebanon’s president, Joseph Aoun, said Israel’s “deliberate and consistent targeting of journalists” was “aimed at concealing the truth of its aggressive acts against Lebanon, in addition to constituting crimes against humanity punishable under international laws and conventions”.
Echoing Aoun’s comments, the prime minister, Nawaf Salam, said the targeting of journalists amounted to war crimes."

It's all a smoke screen cease fire for public consumption, the plan is to take over lebanon just as they did with Gaza. Or as much of it as they can.

The cease fire is in name only, "Double tap: bombings/strikes are a war crime and so too is killing health workers but who cares they keep doing it just as they did in Gaza.
"Two successive Israeli air strikes on a building in southern Lebanon have killed five people, including three emergency workers, Lebanese officials say, in what the country's prime minister has described as a "war crime".
The Lebanese health ministry said the three members of the Lebanese Civil Defense, a state-run emergency service, had been sent to rescue those wounded in the first strike in the town of Majdal Zoun on Tuesday. They were trapped under rubble caused by the second strike and later confirmed dead.
The ministry did not identify the two other fatalities. Two Lebanese army soldiers were also wounded in the attack.
The Israeli military has been approached for comment.
It has previously failed to explain attacks on health professionals while they were on rescue missions. The tactic, known as "double tap", sees an initial attack followed by a second or more - often hitting civilians and rescuers. It has been used by Israel in Lebanon and Gaza.
Human rights groups say deliberate attacks on health workers could constitute a war crime."
