SCOTUS is hearing arguments for "Birthright citizenship"
Trump is making history by being in the court.
"Trump Attends Supreme Court Arguments, a Presidential First
President Trump’s presence in the court put him face to face with justices whom he has tried to bully and intimidate."
"President Trump on Wednesday became the first sitting president to attend oral arguments at the Supreme Court, sitting in the public gallery for a birthright citizenship case and coming face to face with justices whom he has tried to bully and intimidate.
His presence for the argument raised the stakes of an already closely watched case. He stayed for a little more than an hour, hearing the government’s side of the case before returning to the White House.
The president’s relationship with the justices became even more strained after the court’s decision in February to invalidate the administration’s tariffs plan, which like immigration is at the heart of his administration’s agenda.
Mr. Trump has previously mused about attending the Supreme Court’s arguments over his sweeping tariffs, but ultimately did not make an appearance. A spokeswoman for the Supreme Court said just before the argument began that Mr. Trump was seated in the courtroom’s public gallery."

Here you are automatically a citizen of Malta if at the time of your birth one of your parents is a citizen of our country, this law came into effect on August 1, 1989.

If a baby is born and the parents do not qualify for him or her to be a citizen what is that baby's citizenship?
This makes no fucking sense.

If the mother is here legally then the child gets citizenship, if she is not then tough luck, simple logical solution.
