I hear what you are saying but contrary to popular belief, here in the UK the King has absolutely NO authority. The Royal Family are not even allowed to vote or express any political opinions whatsoever. We don't even give them a passport LOL

Sure we pay for their gilded lifestyle but in return, they bring in MASSIVE tourism dollars and when it comes to global relations, they are our secret weapon. Every world leader would go week at the knees for an audience with the Queen and its the same with Charles. Just look how excited Trump is about King Charle's state visit next month
