That really is not hardcore diabetes if you lose some weight, stop eating fast foods, junk foods, fried foods and exercise you can bring it down. But at that level you need some meds too.


For HbA1c the values are

Below 5.7%, normal.
Prediabetic is 5.7% to 6.4%
Diabeticc is 6.5% or higher

If you're going to have diabetes type 2 is the one to have, type 1 is nasty.

They are both diabetes one you inherit the other develops with age, they will both kill you in the end.
