Trump celebrates the death of former FBI director Robert Mueller

Former FBI director Robert Mueller died on Saturday at the age of 81. He was appointed as FBI director just days before 9/11 and served in that role until 2013. He also led the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

He was a former marine who served in Vietnam where he was wounded twice in battle and was awarded numerous commendations, including the Bronze Star for valour and a Purple Heart.

Trump posted on Truth Social "Robert Mueller just died, Good, I’m glad he’s dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!"

Fox News never mentioned this comment despite discussing Mueller's death several times over the weekend

Maybe not what you are supposed to say out loud but he spoke his mind. I can see why he said it to be honest. One thing I do like about him he doesn't sugar coat his words, you might not like that style but he says what he means.

This is the same president who tried to have Jimmy Kimmel cancelled for making a joke about the death of Charlie Kirk ?? It wasn't even anything negative about Charlie Kirk and yet we had JD Vance saying anybody who celebrated his death should be called out and fired and then the FC Chairman threatening to revoke the broadcast licenses from news outlets...... But its ok for Trump to flat out say he's glad this guy is dead ???

This is the president of the United States for Christ sake. Imagine how Robert Mueller's family must feel reading that from their own president ? If Biden had said something like that, Fox News would be going into meltdown right about now
