Nothing would surprise me LOL. He can't really walk away and claim victory with the regime still in power and the straits still closed but if he puts boots on the ground then that is going to mean a lot of American casualties. He's got himself stuck in a corner

Netanyahu has been trying to get America on board with a war against Iran for decades. Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden all turned him down because they could see the outcome. Finally he's found a president stupid enough to go along with it

Im not so sure about this. Iran is saying they've not had ANY negotiations with the USA and that this is fake news

Trump gave them 48 hours to open up the straits of Hormuz otherwise he would destroy their energy infrastructure. Here we are 48 hours later and the straits are still closed. Last week Trump threatened to blow up the oil infrastructure on Kharg Island unless the straits were opened but again, Iran didn't budge.

I think Trump is starting to realize that this isn't Venezuela. These guys are hard line religious fanatics that would rather die than surrender and so he has to find a way out. He can try and claim victory but nobody is going to buy that unless there is a new regime in place and the straits are opened. The only other option is to escalate with boots on the ground and that would just be a blood bath

This is what you get when you've got clowns like Pete Hegseth in charge of military strategy. He's more worried about calling himself the secretary of "WAR" and putting out music videos of massive explosions like this is all some kind of video game

I don;t think Trump is calling the shots, my gut feeling is Netanyahu is the one pushing for this war and has been for decades. If things get much worse he will be the one dropping a nuke, they have the "Samson Option."
