News outlets across the world are reporting some very suspicious trading relating to the war in Iran.

Two weeks ago, Trump announced that Iran had 48 hours to open the straits of Hormuz or face dire consequences. That sent the price of oil soaring and pushed the S&P 500 way down. But on Monday 23rd March at 7:05am ET, he announced that he had paused the strikes for 5 days which lead to a drop in oil prices and a surge in futures trading both in the oil markets and the S&P 500 as people were trying to sell off stocks

But look at the graph below, at 6:49am (ie 10 minutes BEFORE Trump made his post) there was a big spike in trading. Somebody obviously knew what was about to happen and made an estimated $500 million profit from it. That's clear insider trading which is illegal

One word from Trump that he is considering a win or ending the war brings the price down, one word form him that he is going to escalte things the price jumps. If only I was a fly on the wall just before he makes these announcements I would retire that same day.

But even if Trump declares a win, is that going to re-open the straits of Hormuz ??? Iran is making so much money right now from the increase in oil prices AND the $2million they are charging each ship for safe passage. Not sure they will be willing to give that up without something major in return

Above $100 a barrel for Brent crude is becoming the norm after Trump & Netanyahu attacked Iran.

It's sitting at $107.51 right now.
