Google found me the most expensive burger in the world, sit down, $11,000.

"Dubai: A Spanish restaurant has made global headlines after unveiling what is believed to be the world’s most expensive burger, priced at $11,000 — the result of nearly a decade of experimentation and refinement.
Asador Aupa, a luxury restaurant in Cabrera de Mar, Catalonia, known for its high-end Basque-style cuisine, revealed that the exclusive creation was developed over eight years of culinary research by its in-house chefs.
According to Oddity Central, the burger’s record-breaking price does not come from gilded decorations or edible gold, but from the exceptional quality of its ingredients and the rarity of the dining experience itself."

I don't care what ingredients are used or who the chef is, there is no justification for charging $11,000 for a damn burger. If you pay that kind of money and eat it you need to go check into a loony asylum.

I doubt they are at cost.
when you buy in bulk or won a piece of the company you buy from, the prices are very very low.
Over the years I have worked with several wholesale companies and you would not believe the mark up to the average consumer.
we are told they barely make any money, when the truth is, some products have over 1000% mark up or more.
Few have a very low mark up. I am not aware of any that have prices for a negative.
Unless it is a lagniappe. Those have the cost worked into the marketing budget.
