Toilet problems helicopter in some technicians and gear fix it.

"With the USS Gerald R Ford transiting the Mediterranean to join the USS Abraham Lincoln, the region is witnessing a concentration of firepower not seen since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. However, for the nearly 5,000 sailors aboard the Ford—the world’s largest and most expensive aircraft carrier—the immediate threat is not an Iranian missile battery, but a relentless internal crisis that has pushed the crew and the vessel to a breaking point.
The $13.3 billion supercarrier is currently grappling with a systemic failure of its advanced vacuum-based sewage system. Designed to be more efficient than traditional gravity-fed plumbing, the system has proven remarkably fragile during this high-tempo deployment. According to internal reports and correspondence, dozens of the ship’s 650 toilets are frequently out of commission, leading to queues of up to 45 minutes for basic facilities. The issue stems from a design flaw where a single valve failure can disable entire departments, compounded by persistent calcium buildup in narrow piping. These blockages require specialised “acid flushes" costing approximately $400,000 each time, a maintenance procedure that is difficult to perform while the ship remains on active station."

It appears yesterdays talks might prevent a war
"Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said after the morning session that the two sides expressed "unprecedented openness to new and creative ideas and solutions"."

Oh fuck war has started
"
Here's the latest
• US and Israel attack Iran: The US and Israel launched strikes on Iran Saturday morning after what the Israeli military said was months of “close and joint planning.” Israel said its strikes targeted Iran’s supreme leader, president and head of the armed forces. The US is also planning for several days of attacks, sources tell CNN.
• Trump calls for regime change: President Donald Trump described the US military campaign as “massive and ongoing,” warned American lives may be lost, and called on Iranians to “take over your government.” He also accused Tehran of working to rebuild its nuclear program after massive US strikes last summer he previously claimed had obliterated the facilities. Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
• Iran retaliates: Iran responded to the attacks by launching an unprecedented wave of strikes toward Israel and US targets across the Middle East. Explosions were reported in a number of countries including the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar."

No one should be surprised the massive military build up in the region was not there for no reason. My question is where is Congress on this new war, after all they are the ones to declare war.

The pres said this latest operation will totally obliterate the nuclear program but did not or did he not say it was obliterated last June when he attacked Iran.

Nobody is going to shed tears over the fall of Ayatollah Khomeini but this is another case where Trump has completely bypassed Congress and is using the US Military as his personal negotiating tool.
And if history is anything to go by then regime change has never gone well for America. Look at Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria etc. We are still living with the fall out from the Iraq war in the form of Isis
And one last point, this gives Putin the perfect excuse for continuing the war in Ukraine. He can simply say "well you did in in Iran so Im doing it in Ukraine"

"‘The most bitter news’: Iran reels as more than 100 children reportedly killed in school bombing
The building appears to be among many devastated in Trump’s ‘major combat operations’ as long expected attacks arrive"

Killing over 100 kids in a bomb strike does not stop a nuclear program, this was wrong no matter what country is being attacked, kids are not responsible for anything..

I wonder how much of this was to actually to do with Iran getting nukes ??? Bearing in mind the US intelligence agencies have said that there was "no evidence" that Iran was developing a nuclear weapon and any nuclear program they did have was "obliterated" just a few months ago. Plus Netanyahu has been saying that Iran is "weeks away" from having a nuclear bomb for over a decade
I think the timing says a lot. Nothing like a war to boost your flagging polling numbers in the run up to the mid terms
Either way, get ready for a wave of revenge suicide attacks
