Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh stores to close

[Emil]

"Amazon is closing all of its Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh grocery stores while ramping up online grocery delivery — a sweeping shift that could reshape how millions of Americans shop for food.

The company announced Tuesday some former Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh locations will be converted into Whole Foods stores as it pours investment into same-day grocery delivery and rapid-drop services like “Amazon Now,” which aims to bring essentials to customers’ doors in about 30 minutes in select cities.

Amazon has not released a full timeline or list of which locations will close first."

Amazon bought Whole Foods in 2017 so this is a change that was going to happen.

Whole Foods just sounds right too

I buy my grocery in person, not online. I check the quality of fruits and veggies, I check the date on products and bread has to be fresh.

I go to my local Whole Foods in Pasadena every week, it's my go to grocery store.
