Basically you make the public (free) side of your site "Safe For Work". In other words, no nudity. Lingerie etc is ok but no boobs and definitely no pussy. Keep all the hard stuff in the members area. When the user signs up with their credit card then they automatically verify that they are over 18 because you have to be over 18 to own a credit card. A LOT of adult pay sites are doing this, including us.
