Slowly but surely all these EV lunatics are getting the message

I am not against electric cars just as I am not against hybrids, diesels and gas powered ones. What I am against is setting a deadline on not allowing gas engine cars to be sold. It seems all these ev lunatics around the world are slowly getting to reality that people are not happy with their choices being taken away.

latest news is the EU might do away with the no RV mandate deadline in 2035

2035 is the date in down under for no more gas or diesel sales.

China controls most of the rare earths needed for batteries so pushing the EV only sales will just make China richer.

Another one realizes the lunacy of going all EV

"Lotus Backtracks on EV-Only Future with New Plug-in Hybrid Eletre"

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a6969 ... d-details/

The British brand revealed its first plug-in hybrid vehicle this week in China, retrofitting a gas engine into the Eletre SUV."

Lotus by the way is owned by Geely Holding (A Chinese company) 51% and Etika Automotive (a Malaysian holding company) 49%.

Final point that is one ugly looking pile of excuse for a Lotus, the late and great Colin Chapman must be turning in his grave.
