Zelensky has been told take the deal by Trump

" Trump gives Ukraine days to accept his plan to end war as Zelensky warns of ‘difficult moment in history’ "

Here is a line form that cnn article.

"Addressing the nation via video on Friday, Zelensky said the US plan for ending the war would mean his country losing its dignity or a key ally. "

https://www.cnn.com/2025/11/21/europe/u ... ensky-intl
Pretty much what the world expected Trump to do. Absolutely no pressure on Putin to make any kind of concession. Instead try and force Ukraine to capitulate and give Putin everything he wants

Putin must have something on Trump. For the last 10 months, Trump has put no pressure on Putin whatsoever. Even when they agree a ceasefire and the very next day Putin launches a load of missiles at Kyiv. Trump says he's "not happy with Putin" but a few weeks later, he is welcoming him to Alaska with the full red carpet treatment and even a military fly past !

I respectfully disagree I think Trump has realized Ukraine is a lost cause, he wants to stop wasting money on that project and concentrate on Venezuela instead. In his peace plan he gets to control the Russian frozen money and put American companies to rebuild Ukraine which means money money money.

From Axios the 28 point peace plan, if this gets done president Trump truly deserves the Nobel Peace Prize next year.

https://www.axios.com/2025/11/20/trump- ... nts-russia

17. The United States and Russia will agree to extend the validity of treaties on the non-proliferation and control of nuclear weapons, including the START I Treaty

This is the best point for the world the rest does not mean anything to me.

He is not saying yes or no so that when he meets his EU puppet masters today they tell him what to say. Is it a great peace plan for both countries, absolutely no, is this the best Ukraine can get of course. If he doesn't take it the next offer will be a lot worse. The Istanbul deal of April 2022 was so much better for Ukraine but of course he was told by Boris Johnson you can not accept. His masters want to fight until the last Ukraine.

But you know what if the killing ends I would say it's a good deal. Every human life matters.

He checks the reaction. He is asking Ukrainian people.
He wants answers this week.
Not literally, but between the lines.

Now, we will see what Ukrainians will answer. I say "NO".
If he will take this deal it would be a betrayal.

I 100% agree with you my friend, after all the sacrifice, death, loss of property I do not believe any Ukrainian would go along with this plan. He will be toast they will not only elect a new president but he will go down in history for letting the nation down. If he was going to accept this why take the country though this whole war and not stick with the much easier and less damaging April 2024 Istanbul memorandum of understanding that both his people and the Russians initialed.

No don't blame it on Boris Johnson who flew there told him to reject the agreement and carry on fighting, he has to be the one taking responsibility.

I really do not think Ukrainians or Russians will go for this plan. But we shall see, either way all I ever want is for this killing to end. war is a result of bad diplomacy and politics.

Our president will force the two sides to stop fighting and gave them a great peace agreement to sign by Thursday.

Wishful thinking my friend. The victor makes the rules in every war and everyone knows who that is. All the rest of this is kabuki theatre and a total waste of time. Here is how this will end. Russia will present a written document of capitulation and outline the terms of the end of the SMO. It is time people faced reality and stop sending innocent Ukrainians of all ages to the meat grinder.

I mean it’s insane how it repeats the beginning of WW2. And how some people don’t see it.

All this “diplomacy” looks weak.
People like him understand ONLY power.
Everything else is a weakness for them.

You better start looking for a new Churchill, because you will need one.

Not only are the front lines crumbling....corruption is eating away from within.

"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, has resigned following an anti-corruption raid on his home.

Yermak, 54, has been Zelensky's closest adviser throughout Russia's full-scale war, but has come under increasing pressure over an escalating scandal - even though he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

Zelensky recently appointed his chief of staff to lead crucial negotiations, with US President Donald Trump leading a new drive to end the war with Russia.

In a stark address to the nation, Zelensky called for unity, warning: "We risk losing everything: ourselves, Ukraine, our future."

Ukraine's anti-corruption agencies raided Yermak's apartment in Kyiv's government quarters early on Friday and the chief of staff said on social media that "from my side there is full co-operation".

"I'm grateful to Andriy that Ukraine's position on the negotiating track was always presented as required: it was always a patriotic position," Ukraine's president said during his video address in Kyiv on Friday.

Zelensky said he would start consultations on Saturday on who would replace Yermak as his top adviser: "When all the attention is focused on diplomacy and the defence in a war, inner strength is required."

"Russia wants Ukraine to make mistakes – there won't be any mistakes from our side. Our work continues, our fight continues. We have no right... to retreat, to quarrel [among ourselves]."

Yermak's departure from Ukraine's leading circle will come as a major blow for Zelensky, with US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll due to arrive in Kyiv by the end of this week as part of Trump's draft peace plan. US officials are heading to Moscow next week.

Even hours before the raid on his flat, Yermak underlined the significant influence he held in Ukraine's leadership, conveying his government's position as it comes under US pressure to make territorial concessions to Russia's President Vladimir Putin.

"As long as Zelensky is president, no-one should count on us giving up territory. He will not sign away territory," Yermak told The Atlantic website.

Russia has demanded that Ukraine hand over territory it still controls in the eastern Donetsk region, including several strategically important cities.

"If they don't withdraw, we'll achieve this by force of arms," Putin said on Thursday.

Yermak admitted during his interview he was under "enormous" pressure to stand down, adding "the case is fairly loud, and there needs to be an objective and independent investigation without political influence".
