My friend is Ukrainian-Australian and said to me his Christmas is on January 7th. I thought Christ was born on December 25th.

I saw a documentary once where they said the historic Jesus Christ (yes he did actually exist) was born in October but they moved Christmas to December 25th because it was already a pagan festival

LOL who knows. But I know he did actually exist as a person. Whether he is the son of God or not is another question entirely

Here's another totally useless but vaguely interesting bit of information. Do you know why most of the western world is Christian ??? It's all down to one person and that person is NOT Jesus Christ !!

Its all down to the Roman Emperor Constantine who lived some 300 years after Jesus Christ. Prior to him, it was all pagan religions (Sun God, Moon God etc etc) but, on his death bead, he converted to Christianity and decreed that the official religion of Rome would be Christianity. And that's why most of the western hemisphere is now Christian
