What do you look for in a webhosting company?

The question is pretty straight forward. What do you look for in a webhosting company. in essence what features are most important to you guys to make you want to stay or go with a certain host?

Good question; where my server is up, no down time for my sites, they manage it, that's why i pay for a managed server. If there is a problem the ticketing support system gets on it and fixes it fast. Not in half an hour or an hour, like fast.

Besides uptime what other feautures do you guys find usefull in a host, for example, is free migration a factor to take into account when moving hosts or free dedicated IP addresses?

it should be, but you would be surprised at the things some companies pull off, just trying to keep the convo going.

Most Hosting company are including SSL in their hosting for free.
I know most of them are using "Let's Encrypt"
But still is good to have a free SSL option

ahh now this I was not aware of being a trend in the hosting industry thats great to know. Security is important for sure, and ssl tend to be so expensive if you want a good one.

Daily malware scan is a great idea, its something that wouldn't really take much effort to accomplish and sounds really beneficial for the client.

I was also thinking about a promo for something like first month free, how do those types of promos vote with you all ?

you are getting into a market that is really agressive in that part

Non porn hosting companies are creating promotion like 3 months free and 6 months free.
but i think that just have an upfront value

on the long term i will prefer DDOS PROTECTION AND DAILY MALWARE SCAN FOR FREE.
