It's not a question of it if fails but how soon. The problems have not been resolved. I've said it a dozen times, Israel wants all Palestinians out of Gaza and the West bank, the Palestinians want a State.
Is Gaza war going to ever end?

"TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has ordered the army to immediately carry out “powerful strikes” in Gaza, in a new test for a U.S.-brokered ceasefire.
Netanyahu made the announcement shortly after Israel said that Hamas had opened fire at Israeli forces in southern Gaza.
Tensions were already high after Hamas returned a set of remains that Israel said belonged to a body of an Israeli hostage recovered earlier in the war."

How about that cease fire or will any excuse work to carry on bombing and killing people in Gaza?

Not at all surprised about this. I think the only reason Netenyahu agreed to the ceasefire in the first place is because he knew he had crossed a line when he launched that attack in Qatar WITHOUT notifying the USA first. If that attack had been in any other country then nothing would have happened but because it was Qatar, Trump made him apologize in person to the Qataris and then forced him to submit to the peace deal. A few weeks later, Trump announced that any attack on Qatar would be considered a threat to the USA so I guess that $400 million plane they gave to Trump really paid offTheButcher wrote: ↑October 28th, 2025, 12:31 pm"TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he has ordered the army to immediately carry out “powerful strikes” in Gaza, in a new test for a U.S.-brokered ceasefire.

This time round, Netenyahu notified the US beforehand that he was going to launch strikes in Gaza and I guess Trump was ok with it otherwise it wouldn't have happened
Seems like we are right back to square one

Second observation the living hostages were released ( great news and I am happy they got free) and now this air and ground bombing over the remains of one dead hostage being from a previous war, come on it's unfortunate but some remains for a dead person could be an honest mistake, it's not like those people have DNA testing in the rubble. Why go bomb when you can say thanks for returning the remains of one of our people but we need the rest of the dead handed over. This is all a show , Netanyahu is not going to rest until he wipes out Gaza and takes control, the man has outright said it for over 25 years.
In case anyone thinks I sympathize with those bad apples who perpetrated October 7th I categorically do not, they need to go but this latest violation of the so called cease fire is too much, and I was watching a report on the BBC website earlier this is not the first time Israel has fired on people in Gaza since the cease fire.

There is no money in peace for the arms manufacturers, why they love to keep wars going.

While the news is about Iran more Palestinians are dying, what cease fire.....
"In short:
At least 26 people have been killed in Gaza as Israel carried out its heaviest air strikes in weeks, according to local authorities.
The strikes occurred one day after Israel accused Hamas of new ceasefire violations and a day before the Rafah crossing along the border with Egypt is set to open.
What's next?
Gaza's Health Ministry has recorded 509 Palestinians killed by Israeli fire since the start of the ceasefire on October 10, 2025. "

"Researchers from Duke University, Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in London and Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza found that about 116,000 injuries in Gaza have been sustained between Oct. 7, 2023, and May 1, 2025.
Of those injuries, they estimate up to 46,000 require reconstructive surgery. The team said it expects this figure to increase to up to 68,000 by May 2026 if hostilities don't abate or cease, according to the study, published in the journal eClinicalMedicine."

Ceasefire seems to be a one way street, I see on the news Israel bombs places there regularly.
