When you do not meet the minimum payment threshold but want your account terminated
This question has come up from day ine and what is your opinion on it. When you do not meet the minimum payment threshold but want your account terminated should the program owners pay you or stick to their terms. This came up again on here by adultdomain_1 and Labeldollars so let's ask every bodies opinion.
I think the honest thing to do is to pay the affiliate their earned money and terminate the account irrespective of the dollar figure.
Tell me what you think is fair.

They are doing the best they can, but the program is not profitable, as the design of the offers is like from 2010. As a spender, I would not spend a dollar on this.
I'm not asking for MY money to be paid out and to continue promoting. I'm asking for MY money to be paid out and to end the collaboration. Do you see the difference between that?
I see no reason why I am FORCED to continue promoting a non-profit program. It wasn't a problem with other programs, but here it is...
Once again: I'm not asking for MY money to be paid out and to continue promoting. I'm asking for MY money to be paid out and to end the collaboration. Do you see the difference between that?

Pay the affiliate he earned it.
Stop looking for reps if they don't care why waste your time and traffic at their program, fuck that.

It takes 2 to tango, you agree to the terms when you register to a program and they have to stick to paying you when you make the minimums, not hard to fathom is it.

Screw what the terms say, if you are not happy then you have all the right to say pay up I'm done.

The right way to handle it is to chat in private work it out, if it does not happen just bring it to the boards. It always gets results .

Forget the contract idea do the honest thing, pay & close the affiliates account, if your program was converting they would never ask you to close it, my 2 cents.

One time I want to see this challenged in court, can a sponsor keep your money if you notify them you are not going to use the program any more and want your account closed.

Here is another idea. What if programs had a clause in their terms saying. If you try us out for 30 days and do not want to remain our affiliates no matter how much you have earned you can close the account and get paid for the money earned.

Do people read the TOS before registering to programs?

I'm dealing with a few sponsors that are withholding my payouts, I told them I am not going to send them traffic and they are not paying me out. One the minimum payout is at $300 I have $178 in there the other is at $500 I have $224. Names will be forth coming next week if they carry on ignoring me.

Think of it in light of a divorce. 2 people get married they decide to part ways, they split the assets and move on.
